London Photographic Workshop is not an anonymous group class. Every participant is met with the spirit of a one-to-one tuition: personal attention, individual dialogue and precise guidance in the field, in the edit and in the development of a body of work.
This happens within a deliberately small community of photographers, artists and travellers. The shared journey brings conversation, perspective and a sense of place; the teaching remains attentive to the work, questions and ambitions of each person.
One price.
The Participation.
Each Immersion has a single price: the Participation. It brings together the photographic, artistic and educational experience created by LPW and the accommodation and ground services designed around it, provided by a licensed travel partner chosen for that destination.
You see the whole journey at the outset, as one figure. Your individual agreement then states clearly who provides and invoices each part, so that every responsibility stays where it belongs.
This structure comes from years of listening to participants. International visitors want to understand the journey as a whole: accommodation, meals and ground transport considered together; the possibility of bringing a partner, friend or family member who is not participating photographically; and the flexibility to request extra nights, room choices and travel arrangements.
Usually included in the Participation
- Accommodation for the full duration of the Immersion
- Breakfast and dinner, unless the individual itinerary states otherwise
- All required ground transport during the Immersion
- Itinerary-related transfers within the published arrival and departure arrangements
- Local logistical support and travel services needed for the programme
Usually not included
- International or domestic flights
- Visas, passports and entry requirements
- Travel, medical and personal insurance
- Transfers outside the published arrival and departure arrangements
- Services and activities outside the published itinerary
- Single-room supplements, upgrades, extended stays and accommodation for non-participating companions
- Personal purchases, drinks, laundry, gratuities and incidental expenses
These are our general guidelines. Every journey is shaped by a particular place, route and way of travelling; its inclusions and exclusions may therefore differ.
The exact arrangements for each destination are stated on the individual workshop page. Where that page differs from these general guidelines, the individual workshop page prevails. If any detail is not clear, please do not hesitate to ask us for clarification before making your booking.

One coherent journey.The freedom to make it your own.
Choosing to travel with us is an engagement that requires time, energy and trust. We know that a photographic journey is not an impulse purchase. It is a decision to leave the familiar behind, to give yourself to a place, to look more slowly and to make room for work that may matter long after you have returned home. We answer that commitment with our own.
The experience we design — the photographic work, the places, the movements, the people and the time in the field — should never reveal itself in fragments after you have decided to come. You will never discover that a specific expedition at the heart of the journey must suddenly be paid for separately, or that its essential movements and moments were never truly part of the experience from the beginning. This is why we give you a clear Total Experience Price from the beginning: LPW tuition, together with the accommodation and travel package created for that particular journey by our trusted partner. In this way, the complete photographic experience we have imagined is visible to you before you make your decision, but clarity must never become a constraint.
Over many years, we have learned that every traveller comes with a different life. You may wish to bring someone you love who will not take part in the workshop. You may want a few more days in a place that has stayed with you, a different room, different transport arrangements, or the freedom to drive your own vehicle independently while travelling with us.
That is because the freedom matters. With LPW and our travel partner working alongside you, the journey can become entirely your own. Make it yours.
